FIRST: Lead With Your Best Stuff. 

People get distracted easily. They might have been
interested in you when they first signed up, but
after a few months of emails, theyll move on to
the next shiny object. 

Thats why you should try to make the sale
QUICKLY. Lead with your best material and really
blow people away. They signed up with the sneaking
suspicion that youre The Guy (or girl) and so
your next messages should confirm that. 

SECOND: Watch Your Titles.

Youre going to get fewer and fewer people opening
your email as you go along the sequence. People
are easy to distract. Plenty of people recommend
split testing your titles, but youll do just fine
keeping an eye on the response rates of your email
sequence. 

If any of them seem to be performing really
poorly, swap them out with another one. 
You never know with 100% accuracy what people will
respond to. 

THIRD: Respect Their Time.

No huge words and no huge paragraphs.

You dont need to write a doctorate or an essay.
Just because youre a good writer doesnt mean all
your potential clients are, so try to keep it
simple.

If a high school dropout would have problems with
it, shred it up. 

FOURTH: Dont Do That Hell, John Doe Stuff
Who does this in messages to their friends?
Do you? Does anyone?

You risk coming off like a used car salesman. 

FIFTH: Be A Tease

You want your prospects to look forward to your
next emails, but you also want them to be
satisfied with what youve sent them. 

Remind them of what theyve gotten from your email
and what they can expect in the next one. Then
tell them when they can expect it.
